One DAB service was introduced in 2001 in Vilnius with coverage of around 20% of the population of Lithania. The transmissions of 6 programmes of both public and licenced commercial broadcasters were on-air in parallel to FM services. DAB channel 13A was used. It continued operation until 2009 and then was switched off.
